How do i polish metal in engine bay???

How do i polish metal in engine bay??? I have never attempted to polish any kind of metal. I want to polish all of the aluminum pieces in my engine bay...can anyone give some how to's and what products to use? Thanks!!!
Re: How do i polish metal in engine bay??? i used the mothers aluminum polish...w/ enough elbow grease, it really came out good <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> ...but i recomend removing the parts from the car, polishing them outside of the car, then putting them back on the car because u can get every spot, and u wont get the polish all over surronding parts-things like plastic.
