Film on window, what to use to get it off?

Film on window, what to use to get it off?
I have this film of something on my window (not sure what it is), what can I use to get it off...I have no tint so that's not an issue...any help is appreciated...

Another idea is use gas, dampen a rag or towel in the gas and be careful of the stripping at the bottom of window.You dont want that stripping to soak up the gas, otherwise it will dry it out and the stripping will start to crack. Also try using a bug and tar remover.

I used acetone and a pfofessional razorblade scraper, still was a lot of work. The acetone will soften up the tint. Besure to do outside with the doors open for good ventilation or you will be high as a Geogia pine. I bought my acetone at the Sherwin-Williams paint store

We use this stuff called Prepsall (or so it sounds, might be spelled Prepsol) @ work. Removes all kinds of sticker residue off anything. another thing that helps someone for lightly placed stuff, is just saturating it w/ windex, then taking a razor and tryin to scrape it off
