Default Two Tone Paint Schemes

Does anyone here have pictures of a two-tone camaro or firebird? I was thinking about how it would look on my black car with a dark gray lower half. The trim line is a bit high on the camaro compared to some other vehicles with two tone paint jobs but I did find an example or two.

My buddy Mitchell's old car, now belongs to another board member. Still one of the downright sexiest Trans Am's I've ever seen.

I would do it a little higer up like both of the firebirds posted. Looks wierd to split it that low on those cars.

two tones on fbodies are impossible to correctly assert the proper split between the two colors. the curvature of our bodies form such a challenge to even envision a nice two tone.

Leave the two tone paint jobs to the Chargers and Crown Vics with 24" rims, lol.

Its hard to go against the grain here without getting a bunch of discouraging comments. Thats for sure.

My bumper and lower door could use a little refresh so I was thinking what painting the lower half of the car might look like. Its an all black 98 z/28.

both are ugly as hell. looks like a van paint job. on the other hand that orange\black TA is just sick. so it depends on the colors and style. over all dont do it

As usual, I guess I'm just different. I like the first Camaro - might have gone with a different color combo since I'm not a fan of that orange, but the cut line is clean, even, and simple. The T/A isn't my taste - too much going on with the thin line and the curved cut line, then back to black roof.

I think to do it right, you'd have to go with a dark upper with a lighter contrasting lower.

Just MO.

That red bird looks really good, it's not "overdone". One of the few exceptions i suppose.
