If there booth is heated it doesnt take long at all for the base coat to flash. They would have had to been in a big hurry which is stupid. I have seen these bubbles before, mostly around where body filler was used. Its hard to tell what causes it, and you'll get alot of different answers but I think its caused by something trapped underneath the base. Probably moisture or oil from fingertips. Paint can do wierd things. There are so many things that can go wrong its crazy. Those bumps are pretty big. If they try to sand it down and respray it they will probably come back in about the same amount of time. The only true way to remove them is to strip it all off and start over but thats going to be quite alot of work.

Well I called and talked to them Monday and they are sending a warranty claim or something like that in the mail. The ball is rolling and I sure hope I'm dealing with some honest people. Thanks for all the replies, they have been a big help. I'll keep everyone posted!

When you get a car painted you need to wait a least 60 days before you can apply any type of paint sealant or wax. Also it looks like it was not prepped right

If you had to get a spot touched up because of solvent pop when you first picked it up, and the guy who painted it was fired, it sounds like you've got a leg up there as well. They already know at least part of it wasn't done right, and they apparently weren't happy with the guy, so that falls in your favor of getting it fixed right.

So tell us what happened!
