that could potentially look sweet. itd go with the wheels.

also a new black grill and hood insert would set it off imo.

I guess, the decision is unanimous. I did some reading about removing painted pinstripes and, some of the old school guys seem to refer these lines as ghost stripes and you cant get rid of them without a wet sand and buff. I did try to buff out the line with my pc 7424xp, orange pad and m105 but it didn't budge ill try in a different spot. Do you guys think wet sanding my only option?

OFF!

I've seen worse but I don't think pin stripes work on these cars.

We remove pinstripe all the time at work and most times you have to wetsand. Sorry but it's the only way normally just be careful around the edges.

Well, i got them all off with my pc 7424xp m105/m205 and it definitely has ghost lines of where they used to be. But i think it looks much better, i also deleted the side molding while i was at it, just to see what it looked like. Much cleaner looking, i guess the next step is wet sanding but i have never done it before and i did not intend to try on this car because the paint is in such good condition. So maybe i will save up and have a professional do it if its possible.

Just finished the car here are the pics to dark out side to take pictures

do your scoop grill too, and powder coat if at all possible. the paint will chip on that grill. i would also go to a clear or smoked corner lens. then maybe a silver or black manta depending on your theme for the car. looks like you like black so maybe smoked corners, whistler mod, black manta, black grills.

Hmm noted, i will be doing the grills and probably the whistler mod. i have thought about a painted black manta before how much would something like that cost do you think ?

no idea, but you can get the vinyl ones from 3rd gen decals for real cheap and if you don't like it you can always pull it off.

sorry bro,

All i can say is you need to remove that ASAP! That is why i tell people to not put any kind of stripes on these cars. These cars look best clean and sleek without any stripes.
