door skin question Hey, has anyone ever romoved thier door skins? Im upgrading to leather and i was wondering if there are any tricks or things i need to know before i attempt this. Thanks.
Re: door skin question I'll assume you're talking about the inner door panel, not the door skin. Just roll the window down, then it's just as easy as removing screws and sliding the panel up.
First pull out the window switch, it just pushes in. Then remove the plastic piece that goes around the door handle. Then remove the big screws that hold the panel to the door and you're done.
