Use a search. It's more than possible, it's been done. I have a set of GTO seats in my garage that I will be shoehorning into my Camaro this winter.
If you are tall, it won't work. They sit higher. What I am trying to do to remedy that is to use universal sliders instead of the power motor, and eliminate that, and run only the power motor for the recliner. Hopefully, that will allow it to sit lower. If you want, PM me in a few months and I'll give you an update.

If you have the seats, you will notice that there will be one connector that should connect to the car. That connector will have three wires. You will only need to connect two of them. The red to 12 volt and the black to ground. The seats will then work in all positions. You will then be able to run move your seat as well.

Is this a direct bolt on installation?...I did see that part of a bracket needs to be cut, but is there any other modifications needed?

I would say the limit is about 6' 2", which would put your head right near the roof

As posted above, it will fit, but its close. It depends on personal taste. I'm 5'9" with proportionately short legs. Where I'm at now in my car, I can just see over the cowl hood. The seating is low, but I love it. Everything is better lowered. Cars, seats, even school buses.
