Re-stitching some of the interior???

Re-stitching some of the interior??? Have any of you done any work on the interior like this. I was thinking of restitching the shift **** and shifter boot, and if that looked good maybe doing a few other things as well. My wife is excellent at sewing and I thought this might be something that would be a little bit different.
Just wondering if anyone had tried this before or if anyone has any pictures.

Re: Re-stitching some of the interior??? I would think it would look pretty cool. I thought about adding some Red stiching to the seats in my Red Convertible, for accent. IE around the steering wheel shifter handle and seat seams.
I have seen it done, and it can look very cool, but if overdone, it can get a little <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
