I did a bunch of research on the subject and have just got my stuff.

I went with 3m fastbond 30 and a spray adhesive from yourautotrim.

Im doing black all around and a grey suede for the headliner and the pillars that from the dash to the headliner (so the interior isnt claustrophobic in all black)

Also just got my swatches in for the carpet.

Originally pinted the interior with Krylon fusion, I posted the thread on here a while back. Looks okay and would probably look better with darker carpet and headliner. It was pretty durable but parts did were off in high wear areas. Like on the kickpanel where i drag my shoe when I get in. Personally wouldnt reccomend paint after Ive done it, go with a wrap

where are you sourcing your suede? the suede wrap would look real nice on the door panels and the rest of the interior. and it's durable, lot's of oem's use it

I got mine from yourautotrim.

I think i got the texuede. Im really impressed with the material its got some pading on the back so it will feel nice and I think a shorter pile than normal, so I think it will be a perfect match for headliner material

I'm in the process of getting samples for my interior renovation. I'm considering all the options for the panels- SEM dye, wrapping them, etc.

I'm still undecided but will check in on this thread for ideas!

Maybe this is a dumb question, but there seems to be a **** ton of headaches when using glue, why not just use upholstery staples?

I'm thinking a tight suede (or suede like) material for the pillars, plastic panels in the car. Instead of using vinyl to wrap, use the suede instead.
