OK I'm going to have to correct what I said earlier. The bare Edelbrock covers are actually available from some vendors for a hair over $150. (I will PM the link upon request )

On another note I just found these:



They are from Pace Performance and appear (I don't know for sure) to be basically the Edelbrocks without the Edelbrock logo. I included a pic of the Edelbrock version on the right for comparison. As cast goes for $98 and polished for $140. (I will PM the link upon request ) I wonder if these are any good or just an Edelbrock knock off. Has anyone ever seen or used these?

Once again I will say Holley is going to have a tough time if they want to sell PLASTIC covers for significantly more than the price of comparable aluminum covers.

not bad at all, Id do a textured paint on them, Makes it look a lot cleaner under the hood, An as everyone else said makes it look like a big block lol

Spoke to Mark at Pace Performance earlier this week. He confirmed that the Pace Covers are not only the same as the Edelbrocks (except without the logo) but that they are actually made by Edelbrock. Its funny how the simple addition of a logo makes companies think they can justify outrageous price hikes such as this one.

Ok, but has anyone modified the hardware to make them fit an LS1. I am sure it is possible and not an unrealistic task.

I guess I am going to have to buy a set and make the mods myself and then post up pics.
