Default I need Caliper Decals, HELP!

okay, so i dont need just the normal caliper decals,

I have a set of c6 Z06 calipers that I just painted. I know you guys have seen the calipers.

What I would like is to find a company that can either

A: replicate the stock corvette graphics,

or (better)

B: keep the circle graphics but put "CAMARO" instead of corvette,

the thing is if i get the regular camaro caliper logos, they will be way small on the mammoth z06 calipers.

I tired the corvette form, and thepowdercoater.com(he will only print them on calipers he powdercoats)

I tried emailing Brent Franker, but got no response (this is the email i used, maybe he has a different one? bfranker@tampabay.rr.com)

SOOOOOOOOOOOO,

anyone have ideas where to get these things? or at least get close.

here is a pic of the caliper in case you live under an engine bay and havent seen one

Brent ALWAYS emails me back within A DAY at worst case scenerio.

Try emailing him again.

I too am interested in this. I have a chance of getting C6 front calipers and wasnt sure if this is just a plug and play type thing. I dont want to have to "customize" anything to make it work.

Hate to Hijack a thread, but I DID put useful info with the Brent thing so its NOT A TOTAL hijack lol

Anyone know if C6 from calipers are plug and play in a 2000 Camaro SS?

no prob with the sort of hijack. its not plug and play. You have to buy adaptors from one of the vendors for the brakes to work. the C5 to camaro adapters work for the c6 calipers too.

once you get the brackets, they bolt right up. the calipers bolt to the brackets, you need the vette brake lines, new rotors, pads, and if you are running the z06 calipers, you need 18 inch wheels, and possibly a wheel spacer or the right offset of the rim.

Whooooooooo Horsey, Whooooooo!

Ok...
1) Thanks for the great advice AND all the stuff I would need
2)- Holy moley! I think I rather run a Baer Eradispeed kit or something.

(do they even make the eradispeed's anymore? I used it YEARS AGO on my 01 camaro.. Great kit!)

Brent Franker is the best source for vinyls. I'll admit that sometimes it takes him a couple of days to respond but he will. He's the man!

yes, they still make eradispeed rotors, but they are kinda a waste of money imo. there is better bang for the buck with equal performance for far less, although there is not much that looks better then the baer stuff.

As far as having the c5 kit already, you would need to change some things.

first you will need 18 inch wheels minimum. if you have those, you may need a small spacer to clear the calipers depending on your wheel selection.

second, you would need new rotors, as the z06 rotors are larger in diameter than the c5 ones are.

third, pads, brake lines. it all would have to be changed.

Brent normally responds quickly, but I have had it take as long as a week to hear from him. It is a side business for him, but he always responds.
