Good to know. Use that for the fog lights as well?

Yes I got the raptor kit.Disabling auto headlights is very easy. Lift up your dash pad where the defroster vent is. It's held in with like push clips. Be gently and pop it up and you will see a sensor in there. It's to the right of your alarm LED. Pull the sensor off and put some very small piece of wire in a U shape plugged into it. This will trick the computer into thinking that it's always daylight outside. You can always put the sensor back in if you want to return it to factory

There is also a writeup on here where you can have your fogs stay on with your high beams.

you should also make your high beams and low beams come on at the same time, if you switch between them it takes a little while for the HID bulbs to warm back up and get bright

and yes the raptor for the 880 bulbs for the foglights. I have heard with more than 1 hid kit you want to order the battery cable hookup because they do run on alot of power

My highs don't have HID's so having both low/high at same time doesn't look right. Plus I have enough light as it is already. I guess if you didn't have good light output it would be necessary.
Better to run off the battery regardless so it does not put a strain on the factory wiring. We all know GM is known for that...

Ah, forget that. If the HIDs turn off for that quick second when you switch to the high beams, that is a good way to kill the ballasts. I guess I will just have to see how well the low beams/fogs look and go from there.

I was actually thinking of wiring the high beams to a separate switch, so that I could just turn the high beams on whenever I wanted, and that would keep the lows from ever turning on or off.

Anyway, did you get the brackets from them as well or how did you mount the ballasts? Any good spots for mounting the fogs, I have already seen some nice spots for the low beams? Thanks.
