why type of wax do you use? i've been using paste, but I need to get a new container and and am wondering what the general consensus is for wax, and why you use that kind.
also, what brand/line of wax is it?
Edit: can a mod put another option for the poll: both

My answer would be "depends"
If I'm going for a quick easy wax, like on my wifes daily driver.... I reach for our Buttery Wax. On my truck when time really isn't an object I bust out the Americana Paste Wax.
If I had to choose only one wax to live with it would be paste... its just an enjoyable experience to use a high quality paste wax.

^x2. Love some Clearcote RMG and Natty's Blue paste on black. Smells like bubblegum too. Nothing but Zaino on the truck that sits outside 24/7, it's the only thing I've ever found that won't waterspot after a summer rainstorm. Not being a Zaino crazy, but it does perform well. Meg's NXT works well too for something you can get anywhere.

zymol.. good luck finding it anymore though.. AFAIK wal-mart, auto-zone, and advance stopped carrying the stuff
... You can order it online still, and their paste waxes are amazing! Zymol carbon for the sickest black ever

Agree completely and it does NOT break the bank. I'm attaching a pic (just click it to enlarge) of my 993 from an Atlanta car show last year. The original paint is now 16 years old and all I use is a $10 bottle of Mother's 100% carnauba wax. Others at this show had hundreds of dollars in products. Guess who received a ribbon? I used this pic instead of the T/A just to show the incredible job it does on metallic paint. My T/A is just as nice.
