It's factory quality.

I gotta do something to mine as well cause I cleaned the hell out of mine and it made a world of difference but it still shows it age and since I wear logging boots about all year long, the heels have started to tear through my floor mat. But I also would like to know what all is involved with the carpets from stockinteriors.com.

There is a moderate amount of trimming. It's no different than any other carpet in what you need for installation. Just have a really sharp carpet knife, and trim slowly, a little bit at a time. If you take off too much, well, you are just screwed.

Their carpet has thick rubber backing over it all and jute padding in key areas just like the stock stuff.

It comes rolled up in a 50 LB box, so it needs to be stretched out flat for a few days to regain it's 3D shape.

It was 300 for the carpet and 100 for the set of 4 floor mats with embroidery.
My old carpet was flattened out, it had no fluffiness like the new stuff. And there was a hole where my heel goes too.

^^^ That is just the passenger area. If you are wanting to do the hatch area Tamaraz carries that one too. I think it was just over 200.00.

Just an FYI but you get what you pay for with carpet. You want cheap carpet you will get cheap carpet. I bought cheap carpet and hate it. Now I will be buying premium carpet.

I am going with stockinteriors. I sent an email about a month ago asking them sell carpet for my car. I was shocked when I read the reply letting me know convert carpet is now being sold. It good to see a company add items by a simple request.

Just buy some used carpet and take it to the local car wash and pressure wash unless you have a pressure washer and the use a carpet shampooer using some hard bristle brushes.

That...just doesn't even come close to the look and feel of new carpet...Perhaps you should have read the thread.
