I have been wanting a 7424 for a while now and my girlfriend surprised me with a buffer for Valentine's day. She wasn't sure what to get and she went to Lowe's and got a PC 7346. From what I can tell on Porter Cable's site they are nearly identical. I think the 7346 may be marketed as a sander. What do you guys think, will it work good as a buffer and accept 7424 accesories?
Thanks in advance

Yep you should be fine. ^^ From that link, the 7346 is just the new version of the 7424, with sanding accessories. It's also half an amp more powerful apparently.
Both have 6" plates so just throw the polishing velcro backing plate on there, get yourself some lake country pads and your good to go!

I've got an older 7336 from Lowes, it has a different counterweight and comes with a different backing plate, but is essentially the same. Everything switches over, you're good!
