Semi gloss is usually best. Flat will turn gray with the wax that absorbs into it. I did gloss on my car because It fit best with my wheels, tail lights, and then painted exhaust to match. Not the best pictures. This looks alot better with the blacked out borla.
These cars should have all left the factory like this. No one has said to me that it looks ricey or tacky. In fact most non f-body people don't know it was painted
