The ground around the car was certainly photoshopped, but I cant see anything on the car itself that suggests that it isnt genuine. I think another car was removed from the top right of the picture and something else was changed on the bottom of the picture, but the car looks real enough to me.

Hmm, this is kinda cool too. Some of this stuff would probably be considered "ricey", but I think most of it is pretty creative.

Underneath the picture there's a link that says (See all of AED Webmaster's photos). He's got 7 pages of stuff, but only 2 pics of the car.

steele,
I dont think that dash is ricey at all. It reminds me of the digital dash craze in the '80s. I still think it looks cool. Kinda has a hint of Knight Rider too.

I was talking about some of the other stuff on the site. I certianly don't think the dash could be considered anything but cool. Looks like he mounted several digital pod gauges behind there and then tinted the plastic cover. It would be cool if someone tried that with an F-Body.

However, I keep wondering what that guy did with his odometer, indicator lights, etc.

steele,
You posted that picture, so I thought that was what you were talking about. I haven't seen any other pics yet.

I know this place makes digital gauges and clusters. (there are others)
http://www.dakotadigital.com/products.cfm?Category=2
They make some gauge clusters that are a direct bolt-in single peice. They also do some custom work. He may have gotten the gauges there as one unit instead of making an assembly himself.

You realize Focus' are FWD with transverse mounted motors too...

Doesn't mean you can't convert it

Just takes some time, ingenuity, and lots of $$$

The Grand Am is either Photoshopped; or the additional picture above is a different car. The air filters are at different angles. The second picture has yellow stickers on the radiator shroud. The first picture has a reflection of the inlet tube on the radiator shroud and the second picture does not. The first picture has a black top battery and the second has a red top. Kinda looks like the blowers themselves are different, but I cannot tell for sure.

Well I just got mt new GM High Tech Preformance mag in the mail. On page 60 and 61 this grand am is in there. This was article on 2002 sema show in las vegas. They said "by a long shot this was the coolest GM car there". It is deffinately not photoshoped. If anyone gets the mag check it out there are some wild vette's cavaliers and the red hot rod test camaro car looks awsome to say the least.

1camwnder, Did you look at the posts on that? It talks about how he got a new battery and how he is still working on the air box. Looks real to me. alex

Hhhmmm. Cool, but seems like a TON of work. I'd be interested to know what other chassis tricks that ride has.
Thanks for the additional comments. You are right, I didn't read all of the posts at that web-site.
