Default pics of 5pt harnesses in 4th gen

Can some of you that have 5 point harnesses in your 4th gens post some pics?

Thinking my seats are not going to allow it and may have to just get 4 point harnesses, but thought I'd check here first.

If I replace my seats I want a stylish, fairly comfortable seat that accepts a 5pt.

any suggestions?

I actually emailed 6le this morning cause some of the pics on the website weren't working for me.

Your pics were exactly what I was looking for since my current seats didn't have a hole for the crotch strap I wasn't sure if they'd work. But my Sparco's look just like those!!

Thanks steven!!

PS I did some cruising around the site earlier and will probably be putting an order in there in the near future!!

I know what ya mean. I keep tearing mine further and further apart and tell myself one day I'll open the garage a *poof* it'll be done!!

Thanks for the pics guys, I've been talking to one of our track officials and they say OEM-type seat is okay for crotch strap to go in front rather than through. I hope they like me passing my Sparco as OEM-typish

it never ends does it. i think ill have everything i need to start putting it back together in another week or two, just dont know where to even start the reassembly.

you should be fine (im assuming your talking about kcir). i dont think they ever looked at my harnesses at all. they normally just check the battery hold down and the bottle setup if i have it in the car.

Yeah plan on most of my passes to be at KCIR just all this talk abotu them being stricter about kicking people off this year has me a little leary of trying to slide things by. Most likely I'll be told to load and go home a couple times this year if I decide to run out the back door. Also, I think Jillian will be paying close attention since she knows the knew setup I have

The sides usually bolt in the stock seatbelt holes and the crotch strap uses a bar. This is from what I've been told and seen. Open to hear other's opinions and what has worked for everyone else.

my harness came with brackets that bolt into the stock seat belt holes and then you either have to buy or make a bracket for the crotch strap that bolts on with the front two bolts for the seat.

your gonna have to pm me some details on the new setup. especially the intake. you went with a victor setup right? ive been thinking about switching mine over.

yes the harness bar uses the stock mounts for the REAR belts. the crotch strap i bought bars from wolfe that coexist with the seats and use the front 2 studs where the seat mounts.

i think their bar is for the shoulder straps. its like the center bar going across the main hoop of the cage

that is the only way a crotch strap should be run. just flopping it over the front of the seat does nothing and is dangerous. the sub belt is supposed to stop you from sliding out from under the belts in a crash. with it flopped over the front, it does absolutely nothing and can pull the belts away from you, instead of against you. if you want to have a 5pt harness, get a 5pt seat.

What seat is that in the pic? Curious with the factory seatbelt mount still attached.

the old style arizen seats.

the factory guide isnt attached, but it was an option. for some reason i though i couldnt use the stock belts with the new seats, but you can. for now its zip tied to the seat. 6LE has a writeup on attaching stock brackets to the seat, but i havent done it yet. this style seat isnt made anymore, and a new style has replaced it. it is slide adjustable, tilt, lumbar adjustable, and leather.

6LE offers his version of this seat, its a near match. you can also find mad racing seats that are very similar.
