let's see some front grills

Okay, gotcha. Well, think of it this way. You can get a stock grille for about $30 so if you mess it up, you can either paint it black or just get a replacement.

Useless pic really but it's the only one I can see on my phone atm. I'll check on my pc when I get home I think I did remember taking a pic of it up close. I took double sided heavy duty strips and put them directly on the plate and pushed it on. I plan to remove it during the spring/summer so I didn't want to make any holes. While the car looks like *** with the winter tires i figured what the he'll why take a chance to get a ticket so it's on atm.
The plate is a tad too tall to sit flush I'll be dremeling the edges off to make it smaller when I get time for now I couldn't be bothered. I'll explain I guess when I get a better pic up

I appreciate the picture, looks pretty good even with the plate. I drive a lot so I dont want to run the risk of not having a plate in front. Im thinking of removing the front grill and taping the plate on.

No probs! I like what i did on my old z. I cut off the sides of the stock grille leaving only the plate bracket and uses some clips From cdn tire and mounted it using the 2 stock mounting holes.
I liked it better with the plate on the front than without to be honest. Only reason I didn't do that to my new ss is the bumper was painted and they used black silicone to put the stock grille back on and it didn't look good with it off hence the carbon grille. I was going
to do the same thing and cut little rectangles from electrical tape to cover the stock tab holes.

Really like the look of that, im going to have to try something similar. Really appreciate the info, hard to find people on here that actually have shots with plates on.

I agree that if I had to have a front plate, I do it like the white Camaro above. Actually the entire car looks great.
I also noticed that it has the same black rub marks from the stock grille like I had on mine.
