I've actually never thought of that before. I've got an extra set of the mesh inserts so I just might try that & see how it looks.

I really wish I had a pic of mine. Our cars look identical. Ive got Anthracite TT2's on mine, its white with T's and everything. I got the carbon fiber RKsport grille and it looks awesome. I just installed it a couple weeks ago and the weather has been horrible, you would like it alot though.

My 99 SS, SLP grill, first gen grill emblem. The emblem recently started showing its age, so I removed it, and bought a set of the SS emblems from SLP for a 5th gen. You get two pairs of emblems for $37.50. http://www.slponline.com/view_produc....asp?P=100042A They look just like the first gen style. I don't have a good recent pic. I'll try to take some this weekend.

I love the black billet grille with the blue bowtie.. I like the ss slp grille more but a lot of people have that.. I'm debating between the billet bowtie combo or the rk sport without the logo..Props to all these pics.. They all look good to me

This looks great. It's the first SLP SS griille I've seen with first gen styling, and everything seems to flow perfectly. Nice job.

I'm certain that this would look pretty bad, for the sole reason that nothing on the grille would be centered. Before you order anything - fiddle with MS Paint for a while and make sure it's something you're committed to.

Its a grille that he bought. It looks almost like a stocking over the stock grille in that picture.
