shift knobs for an a4

this may be a very stupid question... so ill say it anyway. Is there a way to fit the shifter from a 06 and up automatic corvette to the a4? I like the way they look. I know its on an a6 but I was just curious.. don't beat me down with words too badly 
Here's pics of my Hurst shifter on the shortened stick. I painted the adapter black and added a piece of PVC below it to "Fill" the difference in sizes. They're held together with black tape and there's a piece of the black tape at the bottom of the plastic to keep it from scratching up. Blue thread lock keeps the handle in it's location WITHOUT the lock nut. The nut just didn't look clean enough for me.
i got an autozone **** :p the adapter i got was really tight on the shifter so i had to sand and silicone the inside, then had to grind the allen screws down , but thats why i love having a gun shop with all the tools to grind anything i need 
I found an oldsmobile intrigue shift **** at the salvage yard. I decided to to take it as it matches the factory ebony color. I put it in my dads z28. It could use some trimming but the **** looks pretty good. I will post a photo of it when I get a chance.

See i bought a **** and adapter from WS6 store. Awesome stuff. only thing i dont understand is how in the hell to shim it so it aligns correctly lol! Im sorta scared to tread locker it on but maybe i will. Its the black and chrome Z-28 one.
Now this I 'd do. I always see m6 guys using the m6 **** from c6s.
Where did you get the **** at? I saw a car with a black **** and gold bird on it but haven't been able to find a vendor.
I got an answer over at Thirdgen.org, some of the guys there say the shifters for this purpose should be interchangeable so, I think I'm going to give it a go and see how it looks. If It's bad, well, I'm only out $50.
