Re: Door skin coming off?
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I mean the EXTERIOR skin is loose. I just took off the interior panel to see what was up. It looks like the exterior skin is "glued" to the door frame? Can someone verify this? Also, what do I use to secure the exterior skin back onto the door frame? Is JB Weld ok?

93-95 F-cars are notorious for this problem.
I had several friends with the problem back then.
My 93 did it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
I never got it fixed right. I tried several things, some worked better than others.
I think Liquid Nails worked the longest of the things I tried.
Not only is it ugly when the door does this, it makes all kind of noise and the car feels really cheap.
You could fasten the panel through the inner flange with a rivet or something, but then you have to repaint the door.
Good luck
Let us know what works.
It is probably only a matter of time before all our cars are doing this.

They usually just pop on with some plastic push-in fasteners. They get bent and broken after time, especially when you take them off and put them back on. If I'm understanding correctly and this is what's happening, you can buy these fasteners at the local auto parts stores or, I think, from www.partsexpress.com
