Trans Am Front Bumper Ideas
I was thinking of something unique to do to my bumper and here's a couple ideas I came up with. The thought was to modernize it a bit and add in LED DRL/ blinkers vertically in the larger side openings. I was thinking of piping those to the brakes. The center would direct into the radiator. Now I need to find someone who can cut up and refiberglass my bumper.
v1.
v2. More integrated splitter. Larger center opening.

i cant photoshop that well, but id love to keep the look of that line that splits the two side vents you are enlarging, because it carries down the car... what about keeping it as pictured, but including an audi r8 type front vent guards, the chrome horizontal slashes... but just one larger one.
ive also wanted to try and flush the fog lights with the bumper / recess them just a hair (not 4" deep) ... anyone done this?

IIRC that one was left kind of 'rough'. didnt like the lights either.
i think this kind of front end needs some c5 rear vents circa greendragon (that custom green/grey ta)

thanks for the props guys but their actually was a lot of work that went into that bumper and it took a lot of grafting from other bumpers to get it right, to have some one else do that for you would easily cost in the 1k+ (i got lucky it was a wedding gift)
but when you cut bars out of the bumper it leaves a lot of open spaces to be filled and we couldnt do a urethane weld on it.
we took a plactic bumper from a kia of some kind and cut sections to fit the holes left on the bumper and then grafted them in using plastic repair. it was not easy and took a lot of trial and error and we talked about doing it but for the time involved i dont think anyone would be willing to pay us for it.

ya your chop looks good Q and you are right it would be awesome for intercoolers cause there is so much space back there if you eliminate the driving lights.
good luck its hard but its completely doable, the problem we ran into was matching plastics so keep that in mind
