Default Washed my floormats [pic]

My first time ever submerging these in the 8 years I've owned the car. Used Tide laundry stuff and rinsed twice. Letting them drip dry now in the basement.

^ Like I said, they're drip drying right now. Dimly lit basement. Pics will look like ****. Just wanted to share my dirty bath water. And a wet floor mat will look like a dirty one. Must have just been a lot of embedded dirt. I'd like to yank my carpet out again and have that steam cleaned. Stanley Steamer? Would that be classified as "one room?" I'll post a pic later when they dry out a little.

I don't have anybody to bitch about my bathtub and I still wouldn't do that. LOL. Be sure to add the after pics to the original post! Hope they are still colored... lmao

^ It cleaned up fine. I wash all sorts of car parts in the bathtub. Purple power FTW!

Had to bleach the bottom of the tub though because the mats left black marks on it.

I'll grab a pic.. Hangs ons..

Like I said.. Shitty lighting. Had to move a mat into the florescent section. (Supposed to be Tan)

Mat drying rig. (I had to get the tool box in there. )

^ Hey, it's MY tile work, I'll *** it up as I please.. But Yeah. I knew they were dirty, but I didn't think they were THAT dirty! I realized I shoulda got before pics, but that was while I was washing them. Too late. They were pretty bad though.

That's a first lol....I am sure they will clean up nicely.

I always use a pressure washer and some detergent and a brush to clean my carpet and mats with. Then let them sit in the sun. Always worked like a charm on my Mustangs.

^ The last time I had my interior torn out I took a vacuum to to carpet. Neighbors prolly thought I was nuts when I COMPLETELY gutted my interior just to, seemingly, vacuum the carpet. -I was applying sound deadening.

Ditto. Same situation. Once for sound deadening, second time for track day. For the track day I also took the time to spray some cleaner on it and scrub it dry after the vacuum. This is all done in an exposed driveway right next to the street.

CANNONBALL!

Purple Power is the ****. I'd never hear the end of it if I put that in my bathtub

^ Same here. Right at a T-intersection. Car was gutted and there I am with a home vacuum on the carpet.

I have washed mine with power purple a couple of times, great stuff. My only problem is the damn hole my heel wore in my mat so my driver one still looks like crap

Stanley Steamer will actually do your car. At least that's the case around here/in my experience. Was running about $80 I believe. Could always just rent a steam cleaner..
