first attempt at a berger panel
Round two and i brought it down to bare plastic, primed it, sanded it, painted, sanded, painted, sanded, painted, sanded, clearcoated, and buffed with rubbing compound. The rubbing compound i think was a bit too harsh because it took a lot of the gloss out of the clear coat. What I was left with is what i would consider a "gloss-matte" finish (as though there is such a thing).
I liked it so i went with it. I also added some stainless letters from emblem pros which i think look fantastic. Pics before, after, and a cool fisheye.
EDIT- inb4 "that thing looks like a 4x4. Lower it." I have zero intention of lowering it.
. Fisheye from a gopro or what? I have had my ss camaro letters for years so I was wrapping the berger panel flt blk and it kinda was smoothing out the panel due to the ss letters filling it in a lil but the wrap wouldn't stay due to weather so I taped off the letters and painted it with flat blk later

I was going to get the stainless bowtie and z28 emblems to put back on but i may just leave it as is. I kind of want to get an SS hood and spoiler in which case i'd be taking the z28 emblems off anyway...
try GOO GONE, removes GREASE GUM STICKERS and TAPE. I had a sticker I removed with this stuff then washed it.
