Default is there a power antenna mod?
meaning does the antenna have to come up and down EVERY freakin time the key is on/off? even fr a split second

it just seems like it will eventually burn up the motor.

I dont listen to the radio since I have my ipod hooked up, so i just unpplugged the power antenna. looks so much better imo.

yup i just unplugged mine. the reception wont be as good but i listen to my ipod anyways

You can wire in a switch to kill power to the motor. Leaving it either up/down whenever you choose. I think there's a write up on here.
