Finally! Got around to an addition to this mod. Bought parts the other day, didn't get anything accomplished yesterday, finally did it today, temporarily fastened to test for correct location tonight. Looks great IMO, so will be correctly attaching it tomorrow.
Haven't gotten around to doing what else I had in mind... but this one was mildly easier, so here ya go:

2- 6 LED strips "Bright White" (looks bluish in pic, but not so much IRL)

^He just means that license plates make it look bad.

Looks pretty good, I've been contemplating doing this. I'm glad I can see pictures now!

When I looked at it earlier the plate pics were not up. Guess you posted them a split second before me. Looks nice.

I've always wondered what a "ceta" mod would be like on a Firebird/Formula bumper ..

I think it looks good on your car but I cant decide if I'd do this or not .

It looks like you did absolutely no prep work (sanding and whatnot). So I have to wonder if this will last.

You're right. This was honestly just a test run. I'm kinda testing to see how long the paint will hold up. I've got more than enough paint to do this 5 more times if I wanted to.
I want to give it some time to see if I want to change anything, and once the paint starts failing (whether sooner or later that will be) I plan on redoing it with proper prep work.

Ahhh. I see. I like it and am considering doing it to my Formula. Update this thread if you can when you get it done completely and whatnot. I'd like to see the final product and how it's holding up.

No, it's got a custom decal on it.

Oh I will. Especially once I get some decent shots with more than a camera phone. haha.

I could do one light strip, but it seemed to give it a 'hot spot' if I centered it. 2 kinda disperses the light better. In the pics, it looks really bright and overbearing, but I promise IRL, it's not that bad at all. Hopefully a real camera will be able to capture it better once I get decent shots.

I like it, looks pretty good. Didn't ever think it would look good on that style bumper but I stand corrected and the LED's look good on there to.

On another forum it was said the license plate light would distract from and over power the brake lights, thus causing a hazard.
Here's a shot I had my gf take that shows in relation to the brake lights, it's hardly a distraction...

Yeah, I know I'm missing the outer bulb. Fixed that after the pic.
