Replacement service stickers for door frame?
Had to get my door shell replaced recently from some idiot backing into my parked SS.
I kept the back panel of the door shell that has the three service stickers on it (options, GVWR, and tire data) and would like to either transfer them to the new door or have new replacements made.
Peeling these off is not an option since they are "tamper proof" and more or less ruin themselves if pulled off normally.
Anybody else ever had these stickers transferred successfully from an original door to its replacement or just reprinted?

As far as I know the door jamb decals cannot be removed intact, nor can you buy news ones from GM since they are VIN specific.
The only thing that you can do is have them custom made, but I didn't tell you that . . . <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Good Luck! This is tough, I've been down this road before. I was able to get the stickers from SLP with my options, but the ones from Chevy I couldn't get. I was told from my dealer that there was no way of getting the stickers reproduced.
Anyway, with a wide flat razor and a heat gun I was able to get the stickers off in 1 piece and re-adhere them to my new door. Worked perfect, looks perfect! Just requires some finesse.

Re: Replacement service stickers for door frame?
Thanks guys for the info.
Our local Wichita area dealer didn't think that I could get them since there is no part number on them like labels under the hood.
I'll talk to the parts manager instead. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
