switch to SS hood???

so I have been thinking about something for some time now and I possibly have the oppurtunity to jump on it. I have always wondered what my car would look like with the SS hood on it with the Manta stripe with out the spoiler being wrapped.. obviously in black of course to go with the rest of the car.. The reason being is bc I know a guy willing to trade me his SS hood off of his White 01 camaro SS...

I say keep the current hood Cody. SS hoods are nice, but your hood is unique with your car. Keep it IMHO.

i wish i could have some one photoshop this..just for an idea of what it would look like..biggest reason is bc the true SS hood is worth way more money than this hood. I REALLY want a VFN hood like the Dick Harrell hood. thats what I want to base my car around.

Definitely go with the SS hood! No offense but I think it would be a HUGE upgrade over your current one

Lol! That's awesome. Honestly that's the first time I've ever heard someone tell me it looked ugly. Thank you for your honesty!

Also if any one can do a Photoshop of my car with the SS hood on with the manta stripe. I would be ecstatic. I want to see what it would look like with the Harrell stripes

Ls1tuner go with the SS hood. The hood you have on now is not ugly, its SUPER ugly. Sorry but you like honesty...

thx man. idk. the reason why I went with this hood is bc i really wanted the Ultra Z hood. but couldn't ever get ahold of one so this one came up on here for cheap. So i jumped on it. I like the fact that its different its just the roundness of it and the shape up front is sometimes too much for me. I think i'm going to give that guy a message and see what he thinks about swapping out. hopefully he doesn't want any extra cash for it.

ss hood forsure.. But it would look good if your hood was ultra Z and not have the double ram air "scoops".. T/A's definately pull it off.. either way your car is SICK!!!!

the hood isnt costing me anything.. i have a set of Eibach Sportlines. I'm going to order the Bilsteins next week. its going to be a win/win situation!
