Default Painted my wheel wells

I finally got around to doing the rear wheel wells. I had previously removed, cleaned, and spray coated the front wheel well liners with a black rubberized coating.

For the rear I just throughly washed the wells, and later painted them flat black via a paint brush. Had originally considered spraying the rear wells with the same black rubberized coating, but didn't feel like masking everything for the over-spray.

Wow I really like how that looks. What products did you use? It definitely looks much nicer. Do you have any pics of the whole car, or maybe further back?

Just brushed on flat black Rustoleum. Of course I thoroughly scrubbed the area prior to painting.

I'll post up a few more pics shortly.

What bumpstops are those? There from a Jeep, right? I remember reading about it, but I can't find it again.

Yeah, they are for a Jeep. Forget the model number, but get them cheap from Amazon.

Just a small can of flat black Rustoleum and a cheap-*** paint brush. Decided against the spray on rubberized stuff cause I didn't want to mask off everything and make a huge mess.

I love doing the mods that are mainly just labor. Buying high priced parts is a necessary evil at times, but it doesn't match the personal satisfaction one gets from doing the things that only cost a little blood, sweat, and tears.

Looks real good. If I didn't know how old these cars were, I'd swear it was brand new after seeing those pics. Great job. I may have to do that this week if they tell me there's no work to do this week and honestly it's like what you said, some of the smaller, cheaper projects hold more to a person than some of the more expensive ones.
