Honey Comb Tailight question...

Honey Comb Tailight question... Can the lens of the tail light physically be separated from the honeycomb template in the tail lights? The reason I ask is if I get my car painted a different blue I'd like to paint the black honeycomb template the same color as the car, and then reassemble the tail lights for a monochromic look. Thanks.
Re: Honey Comb Tailight question... Nope, the lens is one piece, the black appears to be just paint. But, some careful masking off of the red hexagons might be pretty cool!

Re: Honey Comb Tailight question... That's a good idea. I've had the idea of removing the current template and fabricating a different design and putting it in. I found out that you can't do that though. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
