Default new tips

just got 'em this afternoon so they're not on the car yet... I'm picking up the brackets and hangers to mount them to my bumper directly. They'll be fake (thanks JasonWW) so I dont have to clean 'em and my Borla system is dumped just before where the tips will be.

4" staggered Corsa clones - also a pic next to an extra Borla tip I have for comparison

Interested in seeing how they'll turn out. I was going to add that 2000grit keeps the insides clean but no need for that if exhaust isn't going to flow through them lol.

Kinda wasting money if they're not even going to be functional! Lol but they look nice, I've always loved Corsa style tips.

Brackets completed

Mounted... they're infinetly adjustable so I still have some tweaking. Ignore the horrendous taillights, theyll be replaced soon

Cool color on the car, and nice job on the mounting brackets. What did you use to crush the end of the piping?

Definitely look good, but why? If you have a dump why put on the tips but not hook them up?

I had a full Borla system and despite bolting those tips to the bumper, they would twist and become crooked within minutes of adjusting them. Plus, I felt they didnt stick out enough and had to be cleaned almost daily.

With these, adjustments take seconds and they stay where I put em and they dont need cleaning nearly as often

The previous owner of my Bassani catback had the same issue with the tips moving all over the place, so he welded on an exhaust hangar on each side, and made brackets with bushings that attached the bushed hangars to the body and exhaust.

Yeah, the Borla hangers have rubber bushings and thats where they would twist so I tried a solid steel hanger and the vibration/drone was unbearable...
