removing hand painted thin stripes
Try this: take a razor blade and run one side along a strip of 220-320 grit sandpaper. 2-3 3" pulls will be enough. That'll roll the edge slightly to the opposite side. Flip it over and ben the blade slightly with tha rolled edge to the outside. Then drag that rolled edge along the stripe to knock it down a bit but not thru to the clear. Then try your cleaners.
