Need help contesting speeding ticket! (PICS)
Please read this and give any helpful information you have...
I've been cited for 45mph in a 30mph zone. It was not aquired by radar, at least thats not noted on the court hearing. So what I'm looking for is what to say to get myself out of this. Should I completely disagree and say I was travelling the speed limit? Should I say that I may have been going over the speed limit but I'm positive I wasn't travelling at 45mph, it could possibly have been between 30 - 35mph? Please help, I know most of you have been in this situation. By the way, the officer who gave me the ticket was not on file so he probably won't be there. Is that a good thing? The street I was on started with a posted limit of 40mph then changed to 30mph. Should I say I thought it was still a 40mph zone?
And here are some pics to get you to read this post...

You have to be in control and know what you did. Say you know how fast you were going and it was 30 mph and leave it at that. say you have a sports car and it looks fast sitting steal. And if there is no radar than there is no proof that you were doing 45mph, and it was the officers judgement and it is not right. I would also ask the judge to look at there ticket and make sure they didn't mark rader, if they did be like well its not marked on my ticket so there for why is marked on yours, officers are known to mark the box after the see they forgot to. And leave it at that, I was doing 30 mph and the judgement from the officer is incorrect. Been there done that a few times

Dont say you may have been going 35 because will say you were still speeding. If the cop dont show up to court I dont THINK not sure though but you will not get the ticket it will be dismissed.

Re: Need help contesting speeding ticket! (PICS)
A similar thing happened to me when i was out cruising one day. I drive past the football field having just left a four-way stop, and see some of my friends at football practice so i get on the gas for maybe a complete second, just to have the exhaust make a little noise. Then as I let off I look ahead and see a cop rolling to a stop on a side street to my right. No gun, wasn't even looking at me until she turned her head. At this time I was going about 38 mph in a 30 mph zone and promptly began to slow down. I drove past the cop and she of course begins to follow. I drove over two blocks with a close eye on the speedometer and then she decides she want to pull me over. She comes to the window and tells me that's not an appropriate way to drive, which from the angle she was at she could not possibly accurately judge speed. She asks how fast I was going and said she wasn't going to give me a ticket so I should just be honest. I said the gauge read at about 38. She said she though it was faster, much faster. At least 50 mph. I said maybe 40 and she gave me a ticket for just that. I know that I was speeding, but that was just a lousy thing to do. I should have said I was going 30 and she wouldn't have had nothing on me. Oh well, it was the last day of the month and she needed to meet her quota.
