shifter boot plastic frame

shifter boot plastic frame when i was installing my pro 5.0 shifter i cracked the plastic frame that goes inside shifter boot to hold it in the center console does anyone know the part number or where i can get another one, thanks to anyone who replies

GM Parts Hey,
I had the exact same thing happen to me and I went to my Parts dealer at the local Chevy dealer. We looked through the microfiche, (Computerized) and found the part. You have to get the whole boot and frame together, About $50. I tried to glue mine back with everything, even that putty steel stuff from NAPA. Nada. I forked the $50 for a new boot too. I almost had one from E-bay for $25, but was outbid.

I broke two of them, so when I ordered the real leather boot from afterthoughts, I ended up just gluing the shifter boot to the upper console. It looks better, and I don't have to worry about breaking it again.
