Power Window Question I think the relay is bad for my driver's side window. I can hear it clicking somewhere under the dash when I operate the window switch. Does anyone know exactly where this goofy thing (relay) is located?
I took the door apart and got the window up. The motor is less than a year old. Through the process of elimination in the Haynes Manual it seems like the relay is what's keeping the window from working.

Take it back if you can; because if it's the "motor" and not the relay and you have to change them youself, its a BITCH... <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> Both of my motors went out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> , I changed the driver side the other day and planning on doing the other side soon. And it Sucks ***. <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" />

The car has 47,000 miles on it so there is no warranty.
I already took the door apart and removed/replaced the motor so I could get the window back up. It's really no big deal. There are a few tricks, like using rubber door stops to keep the window glass from falling, that make it fairly simple.
What I need is the location of the relay so I can pull it and check it.

I have same problem, and I'm looking for that stupid relay also. I'll keep looking and if I find the damn thing, I'll post the location, appreciate it if you would do the same. Good luck.
