I agree, not really big on the whole Z28 with an SS clone. I have a NBM Z28 and i am leaning towards the Sunoco hood with the center line.

I said SS because the cowl is too old school, and should probably done for function over aesthetics. If you had a big single plane under there coming from a 96MM turbo, then do a cowl. Since you have a 'vert and you only have bolt on's, I think it would be embarrassing to be beat by a stock 5.0 or LS2 GTO while driving around with a huge cowl.

As far as the Z28 to SS clone I say who cares. There really wasn't enough of a difference between the two to warrant a good argument on adding the SS hood and spoiler. Better suspension, crappy intake and exhaust, plus nicer wheels, and finally the hood and spoiler (yes theres more I know) are the majority of the differences. Most people change their suspension, intake/exhaust, and put on nicer wheels anyways. Now if you are putting SS badges on your turd of a 67-69 Camaro with an inline 6 in it, well now we have a problem.

Our cars should have come stock with the SS hood and spoiler, just keep your Z28 badges on there and you will be fine.

Rasputin good points...I'll have to look into that..maybe some where along the line of just keeping the Z's stock look..well minus the spoiler..the flat looks is freaking plane.. basic bolt ons are weak right now..but upgrades in the future might warrant the idea..

Keep it stock cuz honestly a cowl will look out of place on a bolt on car and unless your car came with an ss hood don't put it on

i voted for the ss hood, but if i had a z28 i would get the sunoco hood. the VFN 4" cowl is a little ridiculous in my opinion, only reason to have a cowl that big is if you needed it. that just my opinion
