Question Mice smell help.

Ok I stored the car over the winter and two families of mice made home in it. One in the trunk and that one is taken care of and the smell has been dealt with. The second family moved into the blower fan. I pulled it out and disposed of the nest. Now my AC smells like mice. Any ideas on how I should go about cleaning/making it smell better? I have been thinking about just pulling the dash and taking all the ducting out and cleaning it really good but didn't know if there is a simpler way to go about this.

Thanks, Sam

Enzymes or coffee grounds.

I've used both to remove skunk and dead animal smells.

It's one of the most common spots for mice to nest at. Once you turn on your air you will know right away. I'm just glad GM put the blower fan in a very easy place to get.

ive definitely heard of it, but luckily my projects sit in the garage without any rodents; however i do usually get royally fucked by spiders on my 'maiden voyages' lol

one time a mouse died on my power cord to my tv once (Which would get really hot).. that was the most horrible smell ever

haha, oh man I could imagine it would. Living in the city with only one garage spot makes it hard to store the car at home. So it goes out to my parents house, and being in the country mice are all over.

another thing you may try to cover it up with afterwards... i know auto zone sells it for sure sitting with the freon... it looks like the canned air that you spray computers out with but it some sort of vent freshener that sprays liquid and smells pretty good... may try that down the vents also

So I was wondering about a cabin filter and well all I'm seeing in that the 98-02 camaros don't have one. BUT there is a filter... http://www.gmpartsline.com/index.php...40&catid=30129

Item #3 not sure if it's a cabin filter but it looks like a PITA to change out. I'm going to take a quick look tonight and see what the deal is.
