How to properly prep headlight cover for paint Hey guys just got back from a body shop and the guy noticed a dent in it, not a huge one so not BIG deal, but for just the cost alone of prepping it and painting it (red paint is expensive sadly) he wants $100, so I figured I'd prep it myself and save on some cost since that 100 didn't cover the dent repair.
I know a lot of shops won't touch your work if you prep it yourself but the guy said it was ok, since it's just a headlight cover and he won't be making a payload off of it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what all I'll need exactly to start this? Should be a fun project
