Re: old style SS emblems
Got my 69 emblem from firewheelclassics.com I believe yearone has them also.
I had to bend the emblem so it would conform to the contour of the billet grille. I heated it at the center between the S's with a hair dryer and took my time gently bending it. The emblem is made of pot-metal and can break easily.
After attaching the emblem to the grille I had to cut the studs down so they wouldn't jam into the fascia.
The 67 and 68 emblems fit the contour of the grille better. But people claim the studs are too short to go through the grille so you can attach the speed nuts. Guess you could use glue or double sided tape.
