Alcantara (Interior fabrics)
Post some pics when you got a min.
I have a few performance things I need to square away before I start. It will be a while, just more time for research and planning. Don't want anyone thinking this will be next month.

...tomorrow I'm going to tint this baby and possibly put suede on the other pillars....maybe wrap the steering wheel, but I don't have my sewing machine with me so It won't be right.

Let me know if you need any pointers. I used Allante for mine. Its so damn soft....
Your about to drop alot of coin, do yourself a favor and decide off samples you can see and touch and stretch, rather than rely on internet pics and opinions.
You may already know this, but...you can get ultrasuede sample cards at Miamicorp.com and Gulffabrics.com will send you free samples of Alcantara in your color choices. Pretty sure Gulf is still the only US supplier of the Alcantara brand that will sell commercially with just a 1 yard minimum quantity.
About the OEM's, most of the suede in new US cars nowadays is not Alcantara. Most new GM stuff is Ultralux( if you know someone with the "the detroit book" from 09 or later, youll see this material in there) , and most of the other brands are some other variation of a Alcantara copy( think cheaper
