Default what to use for headlight cleaner??

my headlights are starting to look dull and i was wondering what to use to make them look good again

Try some cutting polish and elbow grease first. If it's really bad..

You can do 1000>1500>2000 then polish as well. Wetsand until the yellow oxidized water runoff turns to a white,clean color. This means you reached clean, unoxidized plastic. Now finish off with finer sandpaper, and polish the hell out of them. Either work hard by hand or grab a buffer. It'd also be a good idea to wax/seal the headlights like you would your paint.

If all of this sounds too much, 3M makes a headlights restoration kit you can find at your local auto store.

i would use the 3m kit it is bad ***

Yup really any kit these days that's packaged for headlight restoring will work. Just don't go cheap aka get the ones that require a drill to be used as a buffer.

Use PlasticX from Meguiars, works killer. The 3M kit is great as well.

X2 on that 3 M kit. Used it on my 99 burban. Works great. Just makes a MESS!!!!!!
