Imo keep the badges and remove the molding. I am getting my 97' Z repainted this August. I plan on getting new badges for the car but getting the molding removed.

See ya molding... keep the emblem. Maybe get an older style z28 emblem.

id keep the emblems. it will look smoother without the moldings but the molding took A LOT of crap off my car hate to DD my car.

anyone experiencing any discoloration after you remove the side molding? I did this on my 96 monte carlo in high school and had no issues, but I just want to make sure I dont eff up my camaro. im a little more proud of this car than the monte carlo

Unless your car has sat outside since new the color shouldnt be off much. You may have to do a minor wetsand and buff... a general detail job.

You guys don't like the moldings? I remember when I had my first accident with my old camaro (not my fault), the body shop forgot to put the moldings on my driver side area and it looked weird, had to go back to the shop right away lol.

It does look pretty clean with them gone. It looked weird on mine cuz only the rear side panel molding was off.
