Yeah I was teasing ya. I knew you were just joking around. But in all seriousness that gloss black....would look terrible and your brilliant for choosing not to paint it!!

(note from Steve.. I warned you.. ) God, the power I wield!!

"JonSS: The Pully is from a shop called TURN ONE Power Steering Systems.. They are in Michigan and supply steering components to BUSCH, NASCAR and other race teams.. the pulley is made from billet and then hard annodized in a sort of grey/bronze color. The pulley is not any heavier than stock and it is MUCH stronger.. Also it can be polished (I had the face of mine polished and left the rest of the annodizing one).. You can call Jeff and order it at 989-652-0216. He only charges $50 for the part which is much cheaper than making your own (my previous plan before I found this guy). You will need a PS pulley puller to remove the old pulley and an installation tool (very simple mechanism) to install the new pulley. "

Thanks steve! I'll give him a call. Where did you get the puller? I might just have to come over to your place and borrow yours! ? !

You know... this is getting ridiculous. When are we going to see that beautiful beast at the Scoggin Dickey? I'll bid on it until my wife divorces me!

You COULD just RENT a Power steering pulley puller from your LOCAL AUTOZONE...... I belive its $20 plus tax and it is completely refundable(as long as it is returned in good condition).

Steve KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! I really really really like what you are doing! I like how you didn't chrome EVERYTHING and mixed it up a little. Maybe ONE DAY I'll be able to do that to my car!

Now all you need is a clear see-thru hood and front bumper to show off all the awesome work

or hey maybe you should drive with the hood fully opened all the time

LOL

Awesome work. Best looking LS1 engine I have ever seen. congrats.

Yes you could rent it but my Autozone didnt have one so I just bought it.. hey, might come in handy

I used to drive my 67 with hood off at times.. people would stretch their necks trying to see the bling

Free spinning rims?? youve been watching too much Monster Garage

Thanks for all the comments guys.. Ive got the AC and ALT systems back in the car and wired up so progress is being made. I get the radiator system back in today (minus the water pump) and tomorrow I start bolting down the intake and AIR system. I will also route the rest of Power Steering cooling system. Then I just need to finalize the fuel line system design and get my water pump finished and Zooped.

I also got my QuickTime cutout in the mail so I might gut the interior to run wires and put down some sound deadner (like JSears).. Oh, and I have to rebuild the rear calipers and mount them.. One month till CAD/Super Chevy.. I had better get busy

Looks beautiful Steve! Are there any other options besides zoopseal to keep the polished finish?
