Wrong clear coat?
So I started NiteShading my tail lights yesterday and when I applied the clear it dried grey. I am using a Krylon Fusion clear with a uv protection. Since, I have sanded the clear off and respayed a layer of VHT. I would really like to clear and wet sand for a glass look. Am I just using the wrong clear?

Ok, I got really nervous when it started doing the color change. I'll give that a try and buff the crap out it...and if nothing else I can always take it back down and start over lol.

What 99Zee said. And what you said OP is a good thing about the VHT stuff, you can wet sand it off and start over since it's not like the body of the car or something big and noticable.

Some brand clears dont bond with other brand base coats. Why Clear coat it? VHT night shade is technically clear with a tint of black. I sprayed NHT night shade, wetsand, buff. Looks almost to OEM specs.
