Sanding the center panel

I have wet sanded (2000 grit) the center panel to remove the faded bird... is there any way
to polish the plastic piece?

Rubbing compound and a buffer then plastic polish or regular car paint polish will work. Dont heat it up too much though because that plastic will discolor fast so buff with light pressure and dont hold it in one spot for too long.

I will have to pick that up on the 30th when I get paid.. both cars are overdue for a detail..

No problem, it brought mine back to new but somebody before me had tried so theres some white visible up close. You could wet sand it and go from there but if its not too ruff then that should work great.
