Default Anyone done a complete custom interior?

I was wondering if anyone has done a complete custom interior to get rid of the cheap feel of the f body's or if there is a company selling a whole interior kit.

I saved these a while back as I was looking for ideas on interior mods. Looks like Z06 seats and a full-on custom interior...

I've been wondering this too. Thinking along the lines of completely stitched leather wrapped with brushed aluminum trim.

Caravaggio Corvette does some interesting interiors. Too much tan for my taste, but quality work.

Yah, it comes at lambo prices, that is for sure. I heard anywhere from $12,000 to the cost of the car depending on options.

I've done it. I also have a thread on here about it. Custom center console, CarPC setup, GTO seats, custom dash wrapped in soft vinyl. All gray panels dyed to black and gray carpet dyed to black as well. Here's some pics:

We used to sell a leather interior wrapping kit but not anymore due to lack of interest. Just selling the left over stock: http://store.specializedstainless.co...r+Interior+Kit

On a positive note, we made the instructions free: http://showcarforum.com/threads/146-...p-Instructions

You'd be surprised how nice a simple wrap makes the interior feel. Gets rid of all the squeaks and rattles too!

Craftsman ship is definitely evident, but the color scheme is awful. Black, ebony, charcoal, tan, even white, red or blue in some cases, are all tasteful choices.

That's a shame. What had you been charging for it? Between Redlinegoods, 6LE, and this you could cover the interior, and do a decent job of it.

Is there a kit? No.
Have people done custom jobs? Yes.
Will a custom upholstery shop do it for you if you pay them enough money? Yes.

F-body owners are cheap. There would not be too much interest if anyone were to offer some sort of kit, due to the hefty price tag it would have.

youtube

and learn how to stitch/wrap leather/vinyl/animal skin whatever you want

Partially agree....

Is there a kit? Some pieces are available from vendors here, an entire kit is not available.

Some F-body owners are cheap. Depends on who is asking. Interest would be based on cost, desire, experiences of other purchasers, and results.
