Default Objects in mirror are losing.

i bought two decals for my mirrors they say objects in mirror are losing and i put the one on the drivers side with no problem, but i forgot that the passenger side mirror has "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" engraved in it. can i buy a new mirror piece that doesnt have that? what has everyone else done?

You can buy yourself a piece of chrome/mirrored vinyl and lay it over the etching...
I've heard people putting a piece of black vinyl over the etching. No replacements that I know of that are not etched.

go to an auto glass shop - they should deal with a company called Burco that makes replacement mirrors for any make/model. I'm certain all passenger side/convex mirrors have the etching but what you can do is get a driver's side and flip it over. It should be mirrored on both sides - it wont be convex but the etching wont be on it either

Most glass places will just cut you a mirror for the passenger side..and obviously it won't have the etching on it.
