Default Algae in LT1 tail lights lense

So I bought some lt1 tail lights on ebay to put on my 2002 Z. Only problem is they have what looks to be algae or dirt along the top part of the reverse light lense, on the inside. It is not in the part where the light would shine through, but rather between the lense and the black plastic (as seen below)

Anyone know how to get rid of this??

I have the same thing in mine, I dont think there is a good option to remove it.

But you may be able to black that section out with paint from the outside, or VHT the whole thing.

pour some deionized water in the socket hole and swirl it around - if that doesnt work, maybe try to carefully bend some pipe cleaners and 'wipe' it off

Its a similar problem that the LT1 grid TA lights have where the black painted portions inside the lens start to delaminate.

I tried swirling soapy water around in one of the tail lights and it didn't help at all. The water didn't reach the dirty part.
