Default Replacing window motors

Got my window replacement motor in today and was gonna try to do the install tomorrow. I read that you have to drill out the rivets and bolt in the new window motors. My question is what size bolts will work the window motors I got didn't come with bolts or screws. Thanks!

Just take one of your replacement motors to your local Ace Hardware and find a fit. Just remember some lock washers.

Purchase a manual pop rivet gun if you can. The rivets needed are 1/4".
I picked up a gun at Harbor Freight for $20.00. It also included 4 sizes of rivets including the 1/4".

I only suggest this because once you understand how easy rivets are to install vs. trying to hold your tongue right while feeling to line up the backside of the nut that goes onto the bolt you might agree.

Good luck.
